Entry Procedure

Open to All Media

Entry Deadline: July 15th 2016

There is no application fee.

Please submit up to 5 works as a high resolution digital picture attached to an email to: director@pagusgallery.org 

or mail a CD with high resolution jpegs of your work to:

High resolution images are preferred with the filename written as follows:

Artist’s Name – Artwork Title – Completion Year – and Medium

For Example:

Jane-Smith-Artwork-Title-2016-Oil-on-canvas.jpg

We ask that the images are of a high quality (at least 8 x 10 inches at 300 dpi are preferred).

Please include your email address if submitting by mail.  CDs or other submission materials will not be returned.

Notification

Artists will notified of their acceptance by email on July 21st 2016.

Delivery

Delivery Deadline: August 15th 2016 

Artists can arrange to deliver their artwork to the gallery beginning on August 1st 2016 and ending on August 15th 2016.

Artwork received after August 15th 2016 will not be included in the exhibition.

Artists shipping their work to the gallery are encouraged to use UPS Ground and obtain adequate insurance for their artwork.  Please notify the gallery at director@pagusgallery.org when the work has been shipped and include a tracking number.

Please include a Prepaid Postage Label for the return of artwork after the exhibition.

All work must be ready to hang or display.  Artworks in a frame with glass must be wired for hanging.  Please use adequate packaging to ship and protect your artwork.

PLEASE INCLUDE: 

Signed Loan Agreement & Loan Inventory Sheet – Given to the artist upon acceptance

High Resolution Digital Images for reproduction on the PAGUS website and promotional media if not already submitted.

Insurance

Pages, Inc. has never had an issue with lost, stolen, or damaged artwork and have been active in the Philadelphia Art Community since 1996.  We do not carry insurance for artwork on display in the gallery.

Pagus is a 503c Non-Profit Art Gallery and does not carry insurance for work submitted to the gallery for display.  Artist’s are responsible to extend their own insurance for their work during the exhibition (if applicable) or waive their right to hold Pagus, Inc. responsible for damages incurred during shipping or the exhibition.  By sending your work to Pagus, Inc. you are waiving your right to sue Pagus, Inc. for damages to artwork including but not limited to fire, flood, theft or any reason whatsoever.  

Pickup

Artwork will be returned or can be picked between October 9th – October 15th 2016.  

Pagus, Inc. will not be responsible for artwork left in the gallery after November 1st 2016.
